The Administrative Section is responsible for the follow-up investigations of cases initiated by personnel outside of the Special Investigations Bureau. Detectives assigned to this section work closely with prosecutors from the United States Attorney's Office, The District Attorney's Office and the City of Wichita Prosecutor's Office in preparing cases for prosecution. In addition, this section is responsible for the tracking of licenses pertaining to taverns, drinking establishments and dancehalls and the monitoring of these establishments for compliance with City ordinances.
