Discovery Boxes

The WATER Center staff hopes that you and your students will find our Discovery Boxes to be a valuable learning tool that is fun as well as educational. Each Box contains curriculum manuals and hands-on materials relative to a specific topic.

Discovery Boxes are filled with hands-on material, curriculum guides, storybooks and more! Each Box focuses on one of the themes of the WATER Center: geology, water, rivers & stream, wetlands, groundwater, and the Gilbert-Mosley Project.

What you should know about the WATER Center’s Discovery Boxes:

  • They are FREE to check-out
  • They are available for up to two weeks at a time
  • The activities are appropriate for Pre-K though High School students
