Auctions
The City of Wichita has utilized Purple Wave Auction, Inc. to conduct online auctions to sell our surplus City property. The Internet is one method of marketing to insure that citizens and visitors to the City of Wichita have access to the surplus auction information. We will provide information below on upcoming auctions as soon as possible.
The City of Wichita is holding an Internet Only Auction offering a total of 163 miscellaneous surplus items closing at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 6. If there is a bidding war going on between bidders, Purplewave will extend the time on the item until bids are no longer received.
The items are desks, chairs, computer desks, computer stands, credenzas, bookcases, shelves, file cabinets, tables, microfilm readers, treadmills, pottery wheels and an upright piano.
All items will be offered on an “AS IS” “WHERE IS” basis without warranty or guarantee of any kind, either expressed or implied.
