The City of Wichita has utilized Purple Wave Auction, Inc. to conduct online auctions to sell our surplus City property. The Internet is one method of marketing to insure that citizens and visitors to the City of Wichita have access to the surplus auction information. The City of Wichita is holding an Internet Only Auction of surplus vehicles and equipment closing Wednesday, August 6, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. CDT. The items are autos, pickups, vans, dump trucks, flusher trucks, dozer, mini buses, transit buses, trolleys, mowers, air compressors, weed eaters, backpack blowers, and automotive equipment. Inspection is on Saturday, July 19 and 26, 1-4 p.m. at the lot north of 1801 S. McLean.
