June 8, 1998 - DeBruce Grain Elevator Explosion

An explosion rips through a local grain elevator on June 8, 1998. The Wichita Fire Department quickly sent men and machines, including the Wichita Fire Department's Heavy Rescue Team. The following photos were taken by Wichita Fire Department Battalion Chief Mike Steele who was on the scene that first day.
