New! 2010-2011 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER)

The City of Wichita proudly presents 2010-2011 Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation Report (CAPER) which reports on activities related to the Community Planning and Development formula grant programs. This report includes highlights of all initiatives which have been undertaken during the 2010-2011 program year that have contributed to the City's goals of safe, affordable housing and neighborhood revitalization and stability.

New! 2011-2012 Consolidated Plan Funding

Final recommendations for the expenditure of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) and Emergency Shelter Grant (ESG) funds were approved by Wichita City Council on June 7, 2011, and forwarded to U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for their approval. The 2011 program year, begins on July 1, 2011 and ends June 30, 2012, and is the Third Program Year of the 5-year Consolidated Plan. Download the Certified Third Program Year Action Plan.

The 2011-12 funding allocation recommendations were developed as part of a community planning process that involved members of the District Advisory Boards for Districts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6, as well as members of the public, who were invited to provide feedback on how the City should prioritize 2011-12 funds.

In December, 2011, the Housing and Community Services Department requested input from community residents, as to their top priorities for Community Development Block and Consolidated Plan funding.  The following link provides a summary of the 240 responses received.  City staff is appreciative of all those who took the time to complete the survey and provide input into the planning process for the 2012-13 program year.
