Below is an example of a docket listing for John Doe.
Case No.The two letters in the court case number indicates the type of case. The complete listing of case types are:
NameName of defendant
DOBDefendant's date of birth
ChargeType of charge brought against the defendant.
Hearing Date & TimeDate and time of the scheduled court hearing.
Hearing TypeUses three letters to identify the type of hearing that will be taking place. Look further below on this page for a brief explanation of hearing types.

Here is a brief explanation of the different types of hearings that take place in the Wichita Municipal Courtrooms:
ARR & PRSRefers to a first arraignment. This is when you are advised of the charge(s) against you and advised of your rights.
APPRefers to an appearance. At an appearance the judge will ask how you plead to the charge(s) against you. Depending on the charge(s) and your plea, the case will normally be disposed of or set over for trial or sentencing.
CPDCases scheduled for a meeting with a City Public Defender.
TRLRefers to a trial.
DIV, DVD, & DVTHearing types for the various diversion/deferred programs offered by the City.
PSICases that have been set for pre-sentence investigation. The judge will order an investigation before determining the sentence on a case. The investigation will look into the defendant's past record, drug and alcohol history, etc.
ADVRefers to a case that the judge is taking under advisement. This is usually done to allow for research of the law and ordinances or other circumstances which might effect a judicial decision.
REVCase that has been set for review. Judges order reviews to monitor a defendant's progress and to see that they are complying with court orders.
SHCRefers to a Show Cause Hearing. Show Causes are issued when a person fails to comply with a judge's order, be it payment of fine and costs, attendance at treatment, etc. At the hearing, the defendant must show cause to the judge as to why they failed to comply.
SNTRefers to a case that is set for sentencing. This means an individual has already pled or been found guilty and the judge has set the case over for sentencing. The judge will usually do this to gather background information on the defendant before imposing sentence. At the sentencing date, the individual will be assessed fines, costs, and jail time if applicable.
