2006 International Building CodeThe City of Wichita has adopted the 2006 International Building Code, with local amendments, in Title 18.50.
2006 International Residential CodeThe City of Wichita has adopted the 2006 International Residential Code, with local amendments, in Title 18.51.
2006 International Existing Building CodeThe City of Wichita has adopted the 2006 International Existing Building Code, with local amendments, in Title 18.45.
2011 National Electrical CodeThe City of Wichita has adopted the 2011 National Electrical Code, with local amendments, in Title 19.
2004 ASME A17.1 Safety Code for Elevators and EscalatorsThe City of Wichita has adopted the 2004 ASME A17.1 Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators and the 2003 ASME A18 Safety Standard for Platform Lifts and Stairway Chairlifts, with local amendments, in Title 19.
2006 International Fire CodeThe City of Wichita has adopted the 2006 International Fire Code, with local amendments, in Title 15.01.

American with Disabilities Act (ADA)The State of Kansas has adopted the federal Americans with Disabilities Act and Architectural Barriers Act (ADA/ABA) guidelines as the State disability code, and has charged the local building official with the enforcement of ADA/ABA whenever a building permit is required. The City of Wichita has adopted ADA/ABA in Chapter 11 of the 2006 International Building Code with local amendments, in Title 18.50.
Federal Fair Housing Act Accessibility GuidelinesThe City of Wichita has adopted the Federal Fair Housing Act Accessibility Guidelines in Chapter 11 of the 2006 International Residential Building code in Title 18.51.
