American Red Cross Swimming Lessons

American Red Cross Learn to Swim Courses

Swimming lessons for American Red Cross Level 1-6 are offered during the morning and evening hours for each two-week session. Sessions run Tuesday - Friday and meet for approximately 45 minutes each day. Class enrollment is limited to 10 students in a Beginner’s class (Level I - III). Make-up lessons will be held on Monday's if necessary.  .

A child must be 6 years old or have completed kindergarten to be enrolled. A child younger than 6 must present a Level 1 card or must successfully pass a skills pre-test to be enrolled. Pre-testing will be done the first day of each two-week session or by other arrangements with pool staff.

Private Lessons (Offered at All Pools)

Private swimming lessons are offered along with semi-private lessons. Private lessons include one-on-one instruction. Semi-private lessons offer a discount for each additional person. These lessons are offered during each Session. A total instruction time of six hours can be scheduled at your convenience.

Tot Aquatics (Offered at select pools)

Tot lessons are scheduled for 2 days a week for 4 weeks

American Red Cross water orientation class for children ages three to five. Increase a child’s comfort level in the water and builds a foundation of basic skills. Teaches a parent how to hold and support their child safely and appropriately in the water. Classes are 30 minutes long and meet twice a week for a 4-week session. Enrollment is limited to 7 students per instructor.
