About Lynette Woodard A graduate of Wichita North High School, Lynette Woodard enjoyed a phenomenal basketball career at the scholastic, collegiate, professional and international level. She played college basketball at the University of Kansas and competed in two Summer Olympics (1980 and 1984). She also played professional basketball overseas in Italy and Japan. In 1985, Woodard became the first female member of the famed Harlem Globetrotters. She has been elected to the National High School Sports Hall of Fame, the University of Kansas Athletic Hall of Fame, and in 1992 became the first female to be enshrined in the GTE Academic All-American Hall of Fame.

About Antoine Carr A graduate of Wichita Heights High School, Antoine Carr helped bring Wichita State University back to national basketball prominence in the early 1980's teaming with Cliff Levingston to form the powerful "Bookend Forwards" combination that dazzled opponents and fans alike. He was a first-round draft choice of the Detroit Pistons in 1983. Carr was inducted in the WSU Pizza Hut Hall of Fame in 1989.
