General Information

This greenway consists of several small parcels of land along the east and west banks of the Cowskin Creek which will eventually connect Swanson and Buffalo Parks. The following parcels make up this recreation corridor:

Bogue Donation
This 2.75 acre parcel of land west of Maize Rd. was donated to the Board of Park Commissioners by Richard and Gwendolyn Bogue in 1989.

Dillon Donation
This 4.01 parcel of land on the southwest corner of Central and Maize Rd. was donated to the Board of Park Commissioners by the Dillon Real Estate Co., Inc. in 1991. Three acres are on a lake which has been developed into a fishing pond.

Ogden Dedication
This 7.70 acre parcel of land was dedicated to the City by Max and Debbie Ogden in 1994. It is located on the west side of the Cowskin Creek, north of Central and west of Maize Rd.

Rolling Hills Exchange
This 3.90 acre parcel of land was acquired in 1989 in a land exchange with Rolling Hills Country Club.

J.W. Russell Donation
This 5.80 acre parcel of land was acquired in 1995 from J.W. Russell.

Weigand Donation
This 2.90 acre parcel of land just south of the Dillon Property was donated by Nester Weigand, Jr. and Associates in 1991.
