O.J. Watson Park is a beautiful 119-acre park with a 40-acre lake for fishing and pedal boats. The park offers a rustic setting for fishing and picnicking. A Kansas Fishing license is to required to fish, and concessions and bait are available at the concession facility during spring and summer park hours until October 31.
Admission to the park is free, but a fee is charged for participation in some activities and all rides. Picnic shelters, an inside shelter, campfire circle and hayrack rides are available by reservation. The park also offers over 100 picnic tables on a first come/first served basis.
Hours of Operation:
SPRING HOURS: Starting on March 14th 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (Weekdays) 8:00 am - 8:00 pm (Weekends) Rides will operate Saturday and Sunday Noon - 8:00 pm.
SUMMER HOURS: Starting on April 4th 8:00 am - 10 pm daily Rides will also operate 9:00 am to Noon and 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm (Weekdays) and Noon - 8:00 pm (Weekends) Miniature golf - daily 9:00 am - 8:00 pm Note: When school begins, pedal boats & miniature golf will be operated Monday-Friday from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm until the end of September.
FALL HOURS: Starting on October 1st 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 10:00 pm Saturday and Sunday Miniature golf, train, pony rides and pedal boats will be operated from Noon until dark on weekends only.
WINTER HOURS: Starting on November 14th 8:00 am - 4:00 pm daily - closed on holidays Rides will not operate November 1.
