Hamilton Middle School Officer Kim Warehime #1756 has worked for the Wichita Police Department for over ten years. The last three years she has worked with middle school students in the Wichita Public Schools as a School Resource Officer. This is her second year with Hamilton Middle School. Officer Kim Warehime is responsible for Hamilton Middle School and the surrounding community. She works closely with the truancy officer at Hamilton and the District Attorneys Office on truancy issues. She takes personal interest in the students and their activities by being a mentor, assisting communities in school in providing necessities to those in need and attending school activities. As a School Resource Officer her goal is to teach the value of our legal system, promote respect for people and property, and bridge the gap between young adults and police officer’s. At Hamilton Middle School we have a crime stoppers program where cash or gift certificates can be received for solving a crime which was committed.
