AUTO THEFTS
This Winter there has been an increase in auto thefts. Please DO NOT leave your vehicle running or your keys in your car for any reason, not even to let it warm up unless you are in it or have it secured! It only takes a few seconds for a thief to take your vehicle and they don't want to walk anymore than you do.
BURGLARIES
For the past several months there has been a increase in residential burglaries in the area. If you notice any suspicious vehicles or people in your neighborhood PLEASE call 911. We need you to be our eyes and ears!!!!!!!!

AT THE BEGINNING OF THE YEAR, THE PATROL SOUTH BUREAU ADDED A BEAT TO THE BUREAU. THEREFORE, THERE WAS A RESTRUCTURING OF BEATS. PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK TO MAKE SURE WHAT BEAT YOU LIVE ON PRIOR TO CONTACTING YOUR COMMUINTY POLICE OFFICER OR BEAT OFFICER.
District Advisory Board
25 beat is a part of District 3 of the Wichita City Council. District Advisory Board 3 meets the first Wednesday of every month @ the Water Center directly West of Patrol South. Everyone is welcome to attend. All who attend will have an opportunity to speak on a topic if they wish. This is the community's opportunity to have a voice in the changes in our community. City Councilman Jim Skelton (jskelton@wichita.gov) heads these meetings.
