The Perfect Attendance Award shall be awarded to all members of the Police Department who distinguish themselves by perfect attendance.  The award is based upon five-year increments.  To receive an award, a member must have five, ten, fifteen, twenty, etc. consecutive years without the use of sick leave.  No previously issued award will be canceled.  When a member has taken sick leave, the day following sick leave begins a new increment.
