Mission Statement

"The Crimes Against Persons Bureau will endeavor to successfully resolve violent crimes through investigative efforts conducted in an ethical, professional, competent and compassionate manner, blending traditional investigative methods with the problem solving methods from the community-policing model.  Partnerships with other law-enforcement entities, victim service providers and citizens are critical to the bureau's success.
