The Property Crimes Bureau of the Wichita Police Department is responsible for follow-up investigations of crimes committed in Wichita, Kansas. The Bureau is divided into five sections, Auto Theft, Burglary, Financial Crimes, Larceny, and Robbery. Each section has four to nine Detectives or rotating Police Officers who specialize in that type of investigation. A Lieutenant who has a number of years of experience in solving crimes and responding to citizen concerns supervises each section.
