The City of Wichita, Sedgwick County, Kansas, has vehicle/auto  auctions four times a year.  When the owners of  impounded vehicles fail to pay the removal storage incurred, these vehicle and any personal property contained therein, will be sold at public auction. The auctions of these vehicles are located at the individual wrecker company lots.

All vehicles must be paid for immediately following each auction. Affidavits for titles will be provided to the buyer who pays the $10.00 affidavit fee. Affidavits must be purchased within seven (7) days of the sale. There will be an additional $10.00 charge for duplicate affidavits. After seven days the buyer will be responsible for their own title work. In the event of bad weather, dates will be changed. there will be no refunds for vehicles or title affidavits.

Payment for all vehicles is be cash or check. Vehicles must be paid for after each sale.
