The following are rules for renting a trap from the shelter:

• If the trap isn't returned within 60 days, the deposit is forfeited.

• The trap must be returned to the Wichita Animal Shelter to receive the deposit back.

• The trap will not be set between the hours of 10pm and 7am.

• The trap will not be set in adverse weather conditions.

• Animal Services will be contacted as soon as the animal is observed in the trap.

• If Animal Services is unable to pick the animal up, the person renting the trap will be responsible to bring the animal to the Wichita Animal Shelter.

• The trap is only to be used for cats. Animal Services will not respond to wildlife ( i.e. skunks, opossums, raccoons) in the trap.

The shelter has a limited amount of traps. Contact the shelter at 838-9623 for availability.
