Two (2) passport-sized photos Drug Screen results (amphetamines, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, cannabinoid, cocaine metabolites, opiates, or phencyclidine) "City of Wichita" fee, $40.00 (cash or money order) "KBI CHRI FEES FUND," $50.00 (money order only) Bring all the above documentation to the Training Center, between 8-11 AM, to complete the processing, the applicant will receive a Temporary permit* to work private security, which is good for 90 days. When the individual has completed the required training, they must bring in the Basic class certificate, at which time they will be upgraded to a permanent Basic permit, which expires one year from completion date of their class. * The Temporary permit will not be issued if at some point the processing cannot be completed.
