  • What is a Flood Zone?  Did you know that every property has a risk of flooding?  Visit the City's GIS website to locate your property as it relates to FEMA's flood hazard boundary.  Search by your street address.  Select the "Flood Zone" button in the mapping application's header to turn on the floodplain mapping layer.
  • To find out if your property has been removed from a flood hazard visit the Kansas Division of Water Resources FEMA Letter of Map Change webpage or call Stormwater Management staff at 316.268.4545.
  • Why do I need to pay a stormwater fee on my water bill?  How is my fee used?  Click on Q&A to get answers to the most frequently asked questions related to the City's stormwater fee.
