The Wichita Water Utilities is dedicated to providing Quality, Reliable, Customer-Convenient water and sewer service that represents Extraordinary Value. The Wichita Water Utilities supplies and distributes high quality water, and collects and treats wastewater for the City of Wichita. Services provided include pumping and purifying water, maintaining the water distribution and wastewater infrastructure systems, treating wastewater, managing facilities and planning for future needs, all with the most responsible use of financial resources.

Wichita Water Utilities Divisions

Administration
Provides direction and service for the entire utility.

Customer Services
Revenue management and direct customer services provider for the department.

Production and Pumping
Responsible for the operation of the City's water production, treatment, and pumping facilities.

Sewer Maintenance
Operates and maintains the network of pipes that collect water from customers' premises after they have used it, and transport it to the sewage treatment plants.

Sewage Treatment
Operates and maintains three wastewater treatment facilities and fifty-seven sanitary sewer lift stations.

Water Distribution
Responsible for operating and maintaining the network of pipes that transports water from the treatment plant to individual customers.
