Kansas Society of Professional Engineers Honors ASR Project

On June 21, 2007, Don Kirkland, Wichita Water Utilities Assistant Director, and Jerry Blain, P.E. Superintendent for Production and Pumping, traveled to Topeka to receive another award for this worthy project. The Kansas Society of Professional Engineers honored the City of Wichita’s Phase I Equus Beds Aquifer Storage and Recovery (ASR) Project with Special Recognition for "Innovative Engineering Design and Achievements Associated with the Phase I Equus Beds ASR Project."

Previously, the Wichita Society of Professional Engineers awarded the City of Wichita with the Outstanding Engineering Achievement for Successful Completion of the City of Wichita Phase I Equus Beds Aquifer Storage and Recovery (ASR) Project.
