Volunteers For Mentoring & Tutoring Wanted
Can you donate 1 hour a week between the hours of 4pm – 7pm (Monday or Thursday) in the fall (August – December) of 2009 to help assist neighborhood children with homework, academic skill building, and/or positive character formation? Giving your time is the solution to helping our children achieve future success. You will receive training and the information you need to make the most of the time you have to share. A Doctor will share with you natural ways to control your weight, and get the most out of your metabolism; the talk will also cover how hormones effect your weight.

Tuesday, October 27th, at 1:30pm
A Doctor will share with you how prolonged stress effects your body in a negative way, and how to take control and rebuild your body to better fight stress. The talk will also cover natural treatments for arthritis to help prevent it and deal with the pain.
Wellness Talk: Female Hormone Issue: Are They Hurting You?

A Doctor will cover a variety of areas from dealing with daily headaches to the never ending struggle to lose weight and stay fit and how some women can and others can’t.

Just Dads: This is a series of classes created to help fathers be and continue to be a positive part of their children lives. You can come to all or just one session and they are FREE.
The Father Factor

Fathers are invited to participate in the discussion and receive information on how Dads make a difference in the health and quality of life that their child will have. .
Babies 101
Wednesday, October 21st 1:00pm – 3:00pm
New Fathers and Fathers to be are invited to come learn the basics of infant care and to start healthy routines in your child’s life. You will receive great information that will make you more comfortable with an infant including how to smooth a crying baby. You will also receive a certificate of participation.
