Neighborhood City Halls bring convenient government service to you and your area. It is our mission to make access to City services easier for you by providing a convenient neighborhood location and a customer-friendly setting. What kind of services can you access?

Do you have an issue? Schedule a meeting with your City Council member.

Are you working on a project? Use our public computers with FREE internet access. That’s right, free! Sign in, sit down, and start working. The high-speed internet connections make work fun and easy.

Have a service question? Meet with City representatives including Neighborhood Assistants, Community Police, Central Inspection, and Environmental Services Sanitarians.

Do you need to notarize some documents? Notary Publics are available at Colvin, Evergreen and Atwater Neighborhood City Halls - at no charge!

Do you want to get involved with your neighborhood? Attend a District Advisory Board or neighborhood association meeting.

Looking for a place to host a Homeowner or Neighborhood Association meeting? We have meeting rooms available at each Neighborhood City Hall.

Want to take a Park and Recreation program or Community Education course? Enroll here at Park and Recreation. Colvin and Atwater also feature Community Education classes.

Need Health related services? The Women, Infants, and Children Supplemental Nutritional Program is available at Colvin, and Stanley-Aley.

Want to find a good book or do research? Libraries are located near Evergreen and Atwater Neighborhood City Halls.
All kinds of City business can be conducted from the Neighborhood City Halls. Get assistance with issues in your neighborhood like trash, loose dogs, condition of structures, a notification received about a possible zone change, Neighborhood Associations in your area, Neighborhood City Hall room reservations, and so much more...just around the corner in your neighborhood!
City of Wichita Park & Recreation Department serves Wichita with 10 staffed recreation centers throughout Wichita, four locations are in the Neighborhood Centers. They offer a variety of activities with something to see and do for any age. From fitness and sports to arts and crafts, there is plenty to see and do. What about learning to play the guitar or interior design? Each location has new class lists for every season. One should be right for you and your family to enjoy!
| Community Education Creates Lifelong Learning |
Community Education is available at the Atwater and Colvin Neighborhood Centers. This program links resources to address the identified needs of individuals and families in your community. It provides lifelong learning opportunities to assist and empower community members to improve their quality of life. Lifelong learning is the belief that learning is not limited to and age and should occur from cradle to grave. Learning, formal or informal, can be of benefit to all people. We’re creating a community of Lifelong Learners. Sign up for a class or volunteer to teach at Atwater or Colvin Neighborhood City Hall!
Two of our Neighborhood Centers – Colvin and Stanley/Aley – have WIC Program Services located within the building. The Women, Infants and Children Supplemental Nutrition Program offers nutrition education and food vouchers for income-eligible families promoting a healthy lifestyle.
| Library Services Next Door |
The Public Library is a community-focused system that provides access to resources, services and facilities necessary to meet the informational, educational and leisure needs of the community. Library branches are located close to Evergreen and Atwater Neighborhood Centers. Stop in and pick up a book or do research for your project. Then remember to head back to the Neighborhood City Hall to utilize their free computer system complete with internet access!
| Neighborhood Inspectors Work for You |
City of Wichita Office of Central Inspection Neighborhood Inspectors respond directly to citizen requests and complaints and help protect the value of existing real estate. A Neighborhood Inspector is housed at each Neighborhood Center to enhance district services and code enforcement. This service will help make your neighborhood an even better place to live. Visit your Neighborhood Inspector at all four locations!
| Community Policing Serves and Protects |
With community policing, officers are trained to work in partnership with citizens, schools, neighborhood and community organizations, businesses and service providers to identify neighborhood problems and concerns then develop viable solutions. Police officers work to empower and mobilize the neighborhood residents to participate in expanded crime prevention and community affairs, giving them a sense of ownership and responsibility for their own neighborhood and the larger community. Community Police will be available for you at each location.
