The City of Wichita believes citizen empowerment is important. We want to help you find services and resources within City Government. We have updated The Neighborhood Resource Guide. The intent of this guide is to assist you in meeting your basic neighborhood needs through a question and answer booklet. Neighborhood growth and development is a prime concern of the City of Wichita, as we face economic challenges on all levels. Our partnerships with neighborhood organizations and grass-root initiatives continue to be a great asset to our on-going effort to provide quality service to the citizens of our community. This guide is another means of effective communication and it is our hopes that it proves to be valuable to you and your organization. We invite you to actively participate in your neighborhood groups and become visible to the District Advisory Boards where you live. How? By participating and attending the monthly meetings, whenever possible, so that your voice can be heard. All of these meetings are open to the public and all citizens are invited to attend and provide input.
