​Our primary goal is to obtain the greatest value for each dollar spent by the City of Wichita in the procurement of goods and services efficiently and effectively while ensuring fairness and integrity in accordance to the laws and regulations.

In the spirit of continuous improvement and cost management, the City of Wichita has implemented a new e-procurement system; Vendor Self Service. This site will allow vendors and citizens to view current bidding opportunities.

Vendor registration is free and easy. Once registered, vendors will be able to receive email notifications regarding business opportunities matching their business goods/services provided automatically. Other features of the new site include:

  • Submitting bids electronically
  • Viewing bid results
  • Maintaining company profiles
  • Adding multiple users per company profile
  • Track invoices and payments
  • Viewing contracts and purchase orders
