The City Manager's Review Board hears appeals and reviews police activity in order to advise the City Manager of its findings and recommendations. After receiving the findings and recommendations, the City Manager issues a final administrative determination.
The City Manager’s Review Board also performs the following tasks:
- Review the results of completed departmental investigations of formal citizen complaints.
- Review the results of completed departmental investigations related to allegations of excessive use of force, racial profiling, and other matters of community concern.
- Review existing Police Department policies, procedures, and practices as requested by the City Manager.
The Board meets quarterly, or if a formal appeal has been filed.
