This Community Action Program for Wichita and Sedgwick County is focused on assisting families achieve economic security. The program is open to low income families in Wichita or Sedgwick County although the focus in the first year of the program is families living in Wichita Public Housing and those who utilize Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers in Wichita and Sedgwick County. The Individual and Family Development (IFD) program is modeled after a successful Annie E. Casey Foundation's Family Economic Success model.
