Applications are being accepted for the Wichita Public Housing program for the following applicants:
- Persons with 4 or more members in the family to be housed, or
- Applicants who are disabled as determined by Social Security, or
- Applicants who are age 50 or older.

Annual Action Plan
This Plan identifies the 2017-2018 spending priorities for funds received from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development-to benefit low and moderate income persons. The public is encouraged to review and comment on the proposed Plan.
WRITTEN COMMENTS MAY BE SUBMITTED THROUGH APRIL 28. 2017
There will be a public hearing on the Plan during the City Council Meeting on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 9:00 AM in the City Council Chambers. City Hall is located at 455 N. Main St. , Wichita KS. Oral comments can be made at that meeting.

Comprehensive Housing Policy
Staff in the Housing and Community Services Department completed a Comprehensive Housing Policy to help shape and guide future decisions which may impact on the quality of life with respect to housing. The policy references housing affordability and availability, as well as neighborhood stability and resources needed to implement strategies which are recommended.
