The City of Wichita is offering rebates for irrigation sensors, clothes washers, dishwashers, toilets and rain barrels. There is a limit of five rebated items per household. Only models featured in the lists below are eligible for the rebate program.
Rebates are only available to single-family, owner-occupied residences. Customers must receive a bill directly from Wichita Water Utilities to be eligible for the Rebate Program.
Any qualifying devices or appliances purchased between May 1, 2013 and December 31, 2013 will be eligible for the rebates. The rebates may be claimed starting Monday July 1, 2013. Residents only have 60 days from the purchase date to submit their rebate materials to the City.
Low flow Toilets that use 1.28 gallons or less per flush, bear the Water Sense label and are included in the following list are eligible for up to a $100 rebate. Low Flow Toilet Fact-Sheet and List of Qualifying Models
High Efficiency Dishwashers that use less than 4.25 gallons per cycle, bear the Energy Star label or meet the CEE Tier 1 standards and are included in the following list are eligible for up to a $100 rebate. High Efficiency Dishwasher Fact-Sheet and List of Qualifying Models
