The Wichita Airport Authority and the Mid-America Minority Business Development Council (MAMBDC) are hosting the Airport Improvement Program Contractor Forum for firms interested in upcoming work at Wichita Mid-Continent Airport and Colonel James Jabara Airport. The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. tomorrow, April 22, at the Hilton Wichita Airport Executive Conference Center, 2098 S. Airport Road. Online registration is available at: www.mambdc.org. There is no cost to attend the forum.
A formal presentation of the upcoming airport terminal and other construction projects will begin at 6 p.m. Light snacks and refreshments will also be provided.
This networking event has been specifically designed to aggressively target minority firms for contracting opportunities on the upcoming Airport Terminal projects and other construction at both Mid-Continent and Jabara airports. Prime contractors, women-owned businesses, emerging businesses, and Disadvantaged and Minority Business Enterprises are encouraged to attend.
