Heartland Preparedness Training Center Groundbreaking Nov. 16

Shuttle transportation to the site of the Heartland Preparedness Training Center groundbreaking at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16, will be necessary due to the undeveloped nature of the location.

Media outlets are advised to check in at the designated parking area at 21st and New York (immediately west of the I-135 and N. 21st Street interchange).

The groundbreaking site is about 2.5 miles north of 21st and New York and is located on a limited access two-lane gravel road. Guests and media will be shuttled from the parking area at 21st and New York to the event location. Van transportation will be provided by the City of Wichita and Sedgwick County.

Some limited access by media vehicles will be possible, but must be coordinated at the parking area.
