Second Event Planned For Fall
The Wichita Park and Recreation Department is planning a second ZUMBA Party in the Park event after a large turnout at the opening ZUMBA event on Saturday. More than 200 residents participated in the Latin dance workout from 10:30 a.m. to noon at Central Riverside Park. The success of the free event prompted Park and Recreation officials to schedule a second event in early fall. Further details will be announced at a later date.
Wichita Park and Recreation also offers additional ZUMBA classes for children, adults and seniors. For example, the new Aqua ZUMBA class is available for those ages 16 and older. Park and Recreation instructors are certified by ZUMBA. For more information, please call 268-4361 or visit wichita.gov and click on Park and Recreation.
