The sixth annual DUI conference for Kansas Prosecutors and Law Enforcement Officers will be held from 8:30am to 4:45pm on Monday and Tuesday at the Marriott, Old Town, 820 East Second Street North.
“DUI: A Kaleidoscopic Perspective” will focus on the investigation and prosecution of driving under the influence offenses. Featured speakers include Kimberly Overton, Chief Resource Prosecutor, North Carolina Conference of District Attorneys; the Honorable Mark Ward, Kansas Sixth Judicial District Court Judge; Joanne Michaels, National Traffic Law Center; and Leslie F. Hulnick of Hulnick Stang and Rapp P.A., Wichita, Kansas. More than 100 prosecutors and law enforcement officers are scheduled to attend.
The conference is hosted by the City of Wichita Prosecutor’s Office, The City of Wichita Police Department, the Kansas Department of Transportation Bureau of Transportation Safety and Technology and the Kansas Highway Patrol Drug and Alcohol Evaluation Unit.
