Be creative this holiday season at CityArts
Give yourself an early holiday gift by enrolling in a Winter Workshop at CityArts. There are four one-day acrylics workshops to choose from as well as a session about selecting the right digital camera. The workshops are the perfect holiday stress relievers that give students the opportunity to focus on their own creativity, whether they are beginners or professionals. Acrylics (one-day workshop)
5-9 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 12
10 a.m.-3 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 14
5-9 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 19
10 a.m.-3 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 21
Students who enroll in either the Dec. 12 or Dec. 14 workshops will create unique artwork with plaster that is integrated into a painting with acrylics. Those who choose the Dec. 19 or Dec. 21 classes will use acrylics with glazes, paper, oil pastels and stencils. In just a matter of hours, students will create paintings based on the themes of their choosing that they can treasure themselves or give away as a gift. The enrollment fee is $35, with an additional $10 charged for materials.

Whether they are undecided about what camera they want for Christmas or need tips on the best digital camera to buy for others, CityArts is here to help students by giving them all the information they need about the various digital cameras on the market today. The enrollment fee is $10.
