Welcome to the City of Wichita’s guide to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) programs. Reinvest Wichita is designed to provide detailed information regarding local projects financed through the ARRA, passed by Congress and signed by President Obama. The goals of Reinvest Wichita are accountability, transparency and sound stewardship of taxpayer dollars. The City of Wichita wants to make certain that each and every dollar received is spent on projects which put residents to work, lead to economic recovery and serve the needs and goals of our community. The federal stimulus program is one of many tools we’re using to help workers during challenging economic times and mounting job losses. At Reinvest Wichita, we will keep Wichitans informed about issues related to ARRA. This Web site will be a clearinghouse of information on all stimulus matters related to the City of Wichita.
