Public Review and Comments Requested May 16 - June 14, 2018
As part of the 2014-2018 Consolidated Plan requirements, the City of Wichita has developed the Fifth Program Year Action Plan, which identifies the 2018-2019 spending priorities for funds received from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to benefit low and moderate income persons. The public is encouraged to review and comment on the proposed Plan.
On May 1, 2018, HUD announced the 2018-2019 allocation amounts. The City of Wichita will receive:
- Community Development Block Grant - $2,806,389
- HOME Investment Partnerships Grant - $1,498,828
- Emergency Solutions Grant - $230,074

There will be a public hearing on this matter during the City Council Meeting on Tuesday, June 16, 2018 at 9:00am in the City Council Chambers on the first floor of City Hall located at 455 N Main St., Wichita, KS. Oral comments can be made at that meeting.
