Botanica
Botanica, The Wichita Gardens was opened to the public in 1987 to generate enthusiasm for horticulture and enlighten people through educational, artistic, and cultural experiences. With this mission, Botanica's gardens and programs expand public awareness of horticulture, educate Kansans about how nature can improve their daily lives, and assist in the promotion of community development.

Exploration Place is dedicated to providing informal, enjoyable learning experiences with extraordinary resources for exploration for people of all ages.
Frank Lloyd Wright's Allen-Lambe House
Designed in 1915 by Frank Lloyd Wright for Henry J. and Elsie Allen, the Allen-Lambe House Museum, is open for tours by appointment only.
Great Plains Transportation Museum
Our mission is to be "THE railroad museum of Kansas", dedicated to recording and exhibiting the importance of railroad transportation in the human, agricultural, commercial and industrial heritage of Wichita, Kansas and the Great Plains.
Kansas African American Museum
The Kansas African American Museum is a non-profit dedicated to the identification, acquisition, research, collections, presentation and preservation of historic documents, programs and visual art forms that are reflective of African American life and culture.
Kansas Aviation Museum
The museum houses a world-class collection of historic, significant and one-of-a-kind aircraft and aircraft engines; a huge archive with thousands of records, schematics, books, photos and more; and a wide range of additional aviation memorabilia. It also is home to the Kansas Aviation Hall of Fame.
Kansas Firefighters Museum
The Kansas Firefighters Museum is located in historic Engine House Number 6 and has the "Fallen Firefighters" Memorial listing names of all Kansas firefighters who died in the line of duty.
Kansas Sports Hall of Fame
The Kansas Sports Hall of Fame is dedicated to preserving the history of sports for the state to serve as a source of education and inspiration to all generations. The mission is achieved through providing exhibits, archives, facilities, services and activities to honor those individuals and teams whose achievements in sports, have brought distinction to themselves, to their communities and to the entire state of Kansas.
Lake Afton Public Observatory
Young and old alike can share the excitement of the night sky at the Lake Afton Public Observatory. Through the Observatory’s 16-inch telescope you can view such wonders as the giant planet Saturn and its rings, the Moon with its craters and mountains, glowing clouds of gas, star clusters with thousands of stars, and distant galaxies many times bigger than our own Milky Way. After touring the universe, you can explore the Observatory's museum area with its interactive astronomy exhibits.
Mid-America All-Indian Center
The Mid-America All-Indian Center is a multi purpose facility; it houses a museum, a Gallery of Nations for special events, and a gift shop. MAAIC serves as a cultural center and museum dedicated to educating people about and preserving the heritage of the American Indian.
Museum of World Treasures
Experience a trip through time at one of the most interesting and exciting museums in America. You’ll be amazed as you discover our incredible collection of ten real dinosaurs, two Egyptian Royal Mummies, an unequaled Hall of American Presidents exhibit, an extensive Militaria collection from the Revolutionary War, American Civil War, WW I, WW II, Korea and Vietnam, a Wild West exhibit, Music and Hollywood Stars exhibits, and a superb Sports Hall of Fame. Plaza of Heroines
A project created by the Department of Women's Studies at Wichita State University that honors many different women from Wichita.
Ulrich Museum of Art
The Ulrich Museum of Art at Wichita State University acts as a catalyst and cultural center for the art of our time. Offering direct encounters with modern and contemporary art and dynamic public programs, the museum explores questions that shape our world and its diversity.
Wichita Art Museum
As the largest art museum in the state of Kansas, the Wichita Art Museum houses one of the country’s finest collections of American art, spanning three centuries of painting, sculpture, works on paper, and decorative arts. Masterpieces by Mary Cassatt, Winslow Homer, Horace Pippin, Edward Hopper, and Charles M. Russell are among the nearly 7,000 works in the permanent collection. Additionally, an important and expanding glass collection is a significant component to the overall collection.
Wichita-Sedgwick County Historical Museum
The Wichita - Sedgwick County Historical Museum's mission is to educate the community and its visitors about local history by collecting, preserving, and interpreting materials reflecting the heritage of Wichita and Sedgwick County.

Heart of America Men's Chorus
In 2002 five men met to form a men’s choral organization. Their goal was to perform for the joy of singing and to demonstrate a strong commitment to community involvement by contributing to other charitable organizations in Wichita.

Music Theatre for Young People
Music Theatre for Young People produces four full Broadway musicals during each school year. We also offer both summer and winter theatre camps, as well as special activities such as Girl Scout Theater Badge Workshops and Audition Workshops.

Wichita Symphony
Founded in 1944, the Wichita Symphony is one of the oldest arts organizations in Kansas. Their mission has been to provide the state with the highest quality musical presentations for as many different audiences as possible. The largest and most active performing arts organization in the state, the orchestra has been nationally recognized for its artistic level and for the community support it receives.

Kansas Coliseum
At the renovated and upgraded Kansas Coliseum our goal is to provide premium event production and promotion within the agri-events and agri-entertainment discipline.
Prairie Pines
Prairie Pines began as a Christmas tree farm, but evolved into much more than that over a period of 36 years. In 1983 the log barn was added to the farm. It is a rustic, charming, cozy facility. Later, with the addition of the outdoor garden and lily pond behind it, became the perfect location for small Wichita weddings, Wichita indoor weddings, Wichita anniversaries, Wichita receptions, seminars, and quiet retreats.
The Cotillion
The Cotillion is a special events facility in Wichita, KS that features concerts and dances by nationally known performers on a regular basis.
