Debate, reading, and keeping up with current events!
A public defense attorney or policy advisor.
The community! Everyone is so friendly and it feels like a small town despite being the largest city in Kansas.
Getting everyone vaccinated!
Figure skating, coaching, speech & debate, health & fitness, STEM.
Researching quantum mechanics.
The close proximity of different environments. One moment you're in the plains, but after a 20 min drive you're in the city.
Helping people change their mindset - if no one takes action because they think they won't make an impact, nothing will ever happen.
I love puzzles I can sit and do them all day. I like to go in walks or play volleyball and soccer with friends.
When I am 30 I hope to be a veterinarian and have my own clinic.
Is the diversity you see many people of different ethnicities and Wichita is a place where I can come and be themself.
Teens knowing more about politics.
Origami, congressional debate, and architecture.
A farmer.
The sense of community.
I wish deaf people were included more.
Reading, playing tennis, watching movies, and music!
Doing something in the social work field.
y and compassionate attitude our community has overall!
For more empathy to exist in our society.
Tennis, hanging out with friends and family, politics, debate, and music.
A lawyer helping out those who need justice.
The inner-city community that you just can't find in another city of this size and with this many amenities. Wichita truly is the "Heart of the Country".
The racism and stereotypes that minorities face everyday.
Football, Debate, Swimming, and Fishing are all activities that I enjoy at a competitive and recreational level.
Either in the Navy or in law school.
The people and their politeness.
End all of the hatred people carry.
I am an aviation geek, into politics, youth advocacy, student council, history, music, cross-country, spending time with family and friends, and staying current with international & domestic news - also traveling!
A commercial airline pilot or an elected official in local or state government.
Regardless of who you are and what beliefs you hold, every Wichitan treats each other with respect and compassion. The community is awesome!
That everyone would make an effort to understand and be more compassionate to one another.
Tennis, Debate, Student Council, Scholars Bowl, and Student Forum.
A doctor.
The community!
Everyone having a right to education.
Reading, photography, art, and writing. I also enjoy talking about punk rock and'70s disco.
Alive, happy, and making my parents proud.
The art scene! The murals around the city are so uniquely Wichitan and represent our city perfectly.
The lack of empathy.
I enjoy being a manger on the football team, golfing, and competitively swimming.
I hope to be working my way into sports law and become a sports agent.
The diverse community and how you really get to know those around you.
One thing I wish to change is equality for all people in which all races, genders, religions, etc. will be treated with the same respect.
My hobbies and interests are orchestra/cello, singing, writing, volunteering, politics/activism, and learning in general.
When I'm 30, I hope to be a practicing neuropsychologist, and if not that, just happy in whatever I'm doing. I also hope to still be very involved in my community!
My favorite thing(s) about Wichita are the people in it. The community here is very kind and welcoming and are what make Wichita feel like home.
If I could change one thing about the world it would be the dominant economic system. I don't believe we can truly create long lasting change for the people under a system that values profit over them. It will never be profitable for us to fix the greatest problems we're facing today and it's monetary incentive that will drive earth into the ground. This system promotes personal benefit over the collective good and only through diligent hard work and solidarity can we possibly hope to create a system that's truly by the people and for the people.
Politics/social justice, music, roller skating, athletics/weight lifting, and random things I find intriguing.
Living my best life! I hope that my career is taking off and I will be making a change within our society. I also hope to be well-traveled when I'm thirty.
How diverse Wichita is! Everyone is unique and comes from different walks of life, but what we all have in common is a desire for our community to thrive!
Ignorance and oppression. I believe that without those two factors we would be able to create a better way of life for everyone, no matter who you are
