December 4, Mayor Bob Knight will become president of the National League of Cities. The NLC is celebrating its 75th anniversary as the premiere association for cities. It represents the interests of more than 17,000 cities nationwide.

December 6, Mayor Knight and others will be at the White House to officially receive the All America City Award from President Clinton.
Also, the City of Wichita and Mayor Knight are featured in several national and state publications this month.
