The city of Wichita's Housing Services Department is accepting applications for its HOMEownership 80 program. The program will provide a loan in the amount of $6,300 for assistance with down payment and closing costs. A second loan of up to $5,000 can be provided following closing for improvements to the home. The minimum buyer contribution is $1,000.
