BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS
MINUTES
May 22, 2007

The regular meeting of the Board of Zoning Appeals of the City of Wichita, Kansas was held at 
1:30 p.m., on May 22, 2007 in the Planning Department Director's Conference Room, Tenth 
Floor of City Hall, 455 N. Main, Wichita, and Kansas.

The following board members were in attendance:
C. BICKLEY FOSTER and JUSTIN GRAHAM

Board members absent:
DWIGHT GREENLEE, ERMA MARKHAM, STEVEN ANTHIMIDES, JAMES RUANE, 
JOSHUA BLICK.

City of Wichita staff present:
HERB SHANER – Office of Central Inspection present.

The following Planning Department staff members were present:
JESS MCNEELY, Secretary.
YOLANDA ARBERTHA, Recording Secretary.

FOSTER   	It is 1:48pm on May 22, 2007. I am calling the meeting of the Wichita Board of 
Zoning appeals together and I will note that only two members are present, 
which means we do not have a quorum of four members to make a decision.  In 
light of that, Mr. Justin do you have a motion that you may consider?

GRAHAM	Yes, Mr. Foster I move that we reschedule this hearing for June the 5, 2007, 
two weeks from today and let us verify that we will have a number of 
participant to constitute a quorum at that time. 

FOSTER	Since we cannot vote on a motion, we will have it by consensus instead.  That is 
not a problem for staff or is this meeting room available?

McNEELY	We can have a meeting room available to us.  

FOSTER	We have three people here as the applicant, will June 5th be a problem for you? 

I am Mark Dresslehaus with Newman University and it will not be a problem for us.  We will do 
what we can to fit the schedule.

FOSTER	Yolanda will you get a hold of them as soon as you can and let me know and 
verify if they will attend.

ARBERTHA	Yes, I will.

FOSTER	Are there any other items?  Do we have any cases for next month?  

McNEELY	No, we do not have any other cases scheduled for next month.

FOSTER	Herb do you have anything we need to know?

SHANER	No.

FOSTER	Okay.  I will declare the meeting adjourned. 2:05pm
