AGENDA OF THE BOARD OF APPEALS OF REFRIGERATION, AIR-CONDITIONING WARM AIR HEATING & BOILERS MARCH 31, 2005 9:00 A.M. Approve the minutes of the January 2005 meeting. (No minutes of February due to no quorum) Meeting for February did not come to order for lack of a quorum. However, Darrell Boger and Glen Wiltse were present and stated that they had no intentions of adopting any codes until they could look at the 2006 codes are available. They stated they intend to review the Uniform and the International Codes. Darrell Boger stated that they were impressed with the International Residential Building Code if you were only interested in doing residential work. This code includes Building, Plumbing, Mechanical and Electrical trades for residential. Those present at the meeting were as follows: Frank Rash, Gary Highfill, David Hughes and Dan Leidy. Also Present: Lonny Wright, Glen Wiltse and Darrell Boger * Item 1. Board needs to address Section 303.3 #3 (Prohibited locations of fuel fired appliances) Main one in question is 'toilet rooms' * Item 2. Gary Highfill requests a variance to this section of the code pertaining to #2 (bathrooms). See letter provided by Fahnestock. Gary requests the approval of a carbon monoxide detector in lieu of exception # 3. of 303.3 * Item 3. Renewal of Board positions are around the corner. Some may need to get re-appointed. * Item 4.
