Wichita Board of Appeals of Plumbers and Gas Fitters Minutes

Present:  Kenny Englert, Lonny Wright, Keith Brewer, Ron Means, Larry Dougherty, and Terry Irwin

Staff:  Dan Leidy, Kim Mudd, and Billie Vines


Guests Present: John Shepherd, of Plumbers & Pipefitters Local #441 and Jim Lemen, of Viega LLC Representative


Keith Brewer, seconded by Kenny Englert moved to accept the minutes, motion passed 6-0.

Discussion was held on Continuing Education.  No action was taken.

Jim Lemen, of Viega/Vanguard was following up with the Crimpsert Style Fittings.  After discussion, it was decided to have Dan Leidy and Keith Brewer review the documentation and get back with the board.  No action taken.

Discussion was held on the recommendations of the adoption of the plumbing code.  After lengthy discussion, Keith Brewer requested a list of policies.  No action taken.

Lonny Wright discussed about the "Rules of Order".

Bill Vines discussed about the anti-freeze being used.  No action taken.

Lonny Wright thanked Kenny Englert for his dedication for serving for eight (8) years as a board member.

Terry Irwin seconded by Keith Brewer, to adjourn, motion passed 7-0.
