Thursday, October 23rd, 2008




Present:   Frank Rash, Ray Frederick, John Shepherd, David Hughes and Gary Highfill

Absent:  Carl Hanna and Randy Holm

Staff:   Sharon Dickgrafe, w/ Law Department, Stoney Nethercot w/ Central Inspection and Kim Mudd, w/ Central Inspection

Guests Present:    Dan Leidy, w/PACK and Lonny Wright

Chairman, David Hughes called the meeting to order.

Ray Frederick, seconded by John Shepherd, moved to accept the September minutes, as read, motion carried 5 - 0. 

Ray Frederick gave a review from the Board of Regents.

Discussion was held on wall heaters and they are not in violation with the code, and the regulations would be found in Section 8.    The board discussed that it would be expensive to run and felt it was not safe.  No action taken.

Review and discussion on the new mechanical permit form, suggestions were made.  No action taken.

Discussion on the 2009 International Mechanical Code review and it was suggested to start the review in January or February of 2009.  No action taken.

Frank Rash, seconded by John Shepherd, moved to adjourn the meeting, motion carried 5 – 0.
