Wichita Board of Appeals of Plumbers and Gas Fitters Minutes
Wednesday, September 5th, 2007



Present:   Leon Breedlove, Terry Irwin, David Lefler, Jerry Short, Richard Tade, Keith Brewer and Don Vaughn, Sr.

Members Absent:  

Staff:   Dan Leidy, Kim Mudd, Roger Young, Sharon Dickgrafe and Billie Vines

Guests Present:   Lonny Wright; Ray Frederick of Frederick Plumbing & Heating, Inc.;  and Robert Francis of R + C Professional Services, Inc. 

Don Vaughn, seconded by Richard Tade moved to accept the minutes, with the correction, motion passed 7 - 0.

Continuing Education was discussed, and after a lengthy discussion, Don Vaughn, seconded by Richard Tade moved to table this agenda item until the October meeting.  Hoping to get more structure and information from Dan Leidy and Sharon Dickgrafe, motion carried 6 - 1.

Bob Francis, of R + C Professional Services Inc discussed the sinks with the indirect wastes for the Dillon's at 7707 E Central.  After a lengthy discussion, Jerry Short, seconded by Keith Brewer moved to deny the Request of Variance, motion carried 7 - 0.  

Don Vaughn, seconded by Richard Tade moved to have a Dillon's representative to come to the October meeting and present proof of approval, motion carried, 7 - 0.

Roger Young and Bob Francis left the meeting.

Keith Brewer wanted to know what the County Board was doing for their code review.

Discussion was held on the regular meeting place would be in the Central Inspection office boardroom.

Don Vaughn, seconded by David Lefler moved to adjourn the meeting, motion carried 7 - 0.
