Wednesday, July 24th, 2008



Present:   Ray Frederick, Gary Highfill, Dave Hughes  and Randy Holm

Absent:   Frank Rash, Carl Hanna and John Shepherd

Staff:   Sharon Dickgrafe w/ Law Department, Stoney Nerthercot w/ Central Inspection and Kim Mudd w/ Central Inspection

Guests Present:   Dan Leidy w/ PACK

Chairman, Dave Hughes called the meeting to order.

Gary Highfill, seconded by Ray Frederick, moved to accept the May minutes, motion carried 4 – 0.  (There was no June meeting.)

Discussion was held on the NFI (National Fireplace Institute) examinations for Wichita fireplace installer’s policy, more review and corrections were made to the policy.

Ray Frederick updated the board on the House Bill and Continuing Education.

Gary Highfill, seconded by Randy Holm, moved to adjourn the meeting, motion carried 4 – 0.
