SEDGWICK COUNTY
BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS
MINUTES
February 6, 2007

The Sedgwick County Board of Zoning Appeals meeting was held at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 6, 2007, in the Planning 
Department Conference Room, Tenth Floor of City Hall, 455 N Main, Wichita, Kansas.

The following members were in attendance:
GRANT TIDEMANN and TOM LINDSAY.

The following members were absent:
JANA MULLEN DENNIS GRUENBACHER and KATHLEEN GIDEON.

The following Planning Department staff members were in attendance: JESS McNEELY, Secretary, and YOLANDA 
ARBERTHA, Recording Secretary.

Other members present:
BOB PARNACOTT and GLEN WILTSIE.

TIDEMANN 	We will call the meeting to order.  However, we do not have a quorum. It has been suggested that we follow 
up on this matter at the next monthly meeting or we could call a special meeting as well.

MCNEELY	Yes, we could call a special meeting.  Obviously you want to maximize our participation by the other board 
members.  The next scheduled meeting is March 6, 2007.  The only other method to schedule a special 
meeting would be to try to make some contact with other members and try to set a special meeting.  

TIDEMANN	Is this a problem for the applicant?  My thought is we may have a problem trying to get everyone to a special 
meeting.  

HILL	How about next week?

TIDEMANN	Maybe we should plan for March date.  We will have someone to call within the next week to find out if we 
can get a quorum here then we can go ahead and have a meeting.  If not, then we will have to schedule a special 
meeting.

HILL	Okay.

MCNEELY	We can let you know by the end of this week after we contact the members and find out that we can get a 
quorum on the march 6 date and if we can't then we will set a special date.	

TIDEMANN	So we will see you next month.
