ADVANCE PLANS COMMITTEE


The Advance Plans Committee will meet on Thursday, October 21, 2004 at 7:30a.m. in 
the Planning Department's small conference room on the 10th floor of Wichita's City Hall 
(455 N. Main St.).

Bob Meyer, attorney for the City of Newton and chair of the REAP Water Working 
Group, has been invited to provide an update on the initiative to create a regional water 
coalition.  Their goal appears to be to develop a regional water plan, thereby securing and 
managing a long-term municipal water supply that will promote the economic viability of 
all participating municipalities in this region.  This initiative could impact policy 
decisions regarding the Equus Beds Management Disctrict.
