The regular meeting of the Wichita-Sedgwick County Metropolitan Area Planning Commission will be 
held on THURSDAY, January 10, 2008 in the Planning Department Conference Room City Hall- 10th 
Floor, 455 N. Main Street, Wichita, Kansas beginning, at 1:30 P.M. If you have any questions

1.	Approval of the December 20, 2007 MAPC minutes.

2.	      Consideration of Subdivision Committee recommendations from the meeting of December 27, 
2007. Michael Gisick, Bill Johnson, M.S. Mitchell and G. Nelson Van Fleet were present. Copies 
of their recommendations have been furnished to the Planning Commission.  Don Anderson, 
David Dennis  and Debra Miller Stevens were not present. Agenda Item 2-1 (VAC2007-31) 
approved, vote (4-0); Agenda Item 2-2 (VAC2007-40) approved, vote (4-0);  Agenda Item 2-3 
(VAC2007-42) approved, vote (4-0);  Agenda Item 2-4 (VAC2007-43) approved, vote (4-0).

2-1.	VAC 2007-31:  Request to vacate a portion of a sight distance easement, generally located 
on the southeast corner of 13th Street North and 127th Street East (3-mile ring).  (Referred 
back from MAPC on 12/06/07).

2-2.	VAC 2007-40:  Request to vacate a portion of a platted reserve, generally located on the 
north side of 13th Street North, west of Greenwich Road.  

2-3.	VAC 2007-42:  Request to vacate an easement dedicated by separate instrument, 
generally located east of Hillside Avenue, south of Kellogg Street, on the southeast corner of 
Orme Street and Rutan Avenue.

2-4.	VAC 2007-43:  Vacation request to allow for additional uses within Reserve "C," Pier 37 
Addition, generally located midway between 37th and 29th Streets North, west of Ridge 
Road and southwest of Wild Rose Circle.

Request:		      City zone request from unzoned to “LC” Limited Commercial.  
      General Location:	      North side of Central Avenue, just east of the Big Ditch (Wichita-Valley
